Child support is designed to provide for the care and support of a minor child. Support claims may be established through divorce proceedings, the Attorney General Office, or by SAPCRs (Suits Affecting Parent-Child Relationship). I work on behalf of clients to make sure any support determined is adequate and fair.
I also work with clients who have opened or are responding to cases opened through the Attorney General’s Office Child Support Division. Like any other court proceeding, orders signed by a judge in these cases are enforceable and it is important that clients understand their rights prior to signing these orders or moving forward in this process.
